The western allies sent millions, upon millions, of wool yard goods to the Soviet Union during WWII. Many surviving Obr-43 tunics are made from this imported wool, most notably US Army wool serge.
We’ve reproduced a basic, other ranks, Obr-43 for you in our reproduction wool serge. Like the originals, we’ve mixed up the buttons we used on these. Some have Soviet buttons, and some have original US GI buttons (like many originals).
